Frozen
There are lots of reasons to love this Disney classic, not least because it has two princesses and there is plenty of girl power in evidence. The animation is superb, the scenery is extraordinary and there are some terrific songs. The snowman Olaf is the comic relief and a worthy rival to Shrek’s Donkey. And the happy ending is not quite what you expect. If you’re that way inclined, you can read a lot into it about growing up, and dealing with your demons, or you could just enjoy the story.
Disney Animation has finally won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature with Frozen.
