Remember that as next Tuesday is Nov 5th, and as the Loveless is already booked for another event Moving Image puts a one week spacer in our programme after a pretty good run of movies, to return on the 12th with the delightful Populaire. Described as ‘Boy Meets Girls Meets Typewriter’ this light and bright feature continues the fascination that French movies from the New Wave have had for the bright and brilliant Technicolor style of Hollywood classics of the late ‘Fifties and early ‘Sixties. Its a witty and smart film and has very a beautiful visual style as well. As we new have the brilliant JVC projector working a dream and giving absolutely great picture quality we think this film will be a visual treat so pleas put it in your diary for the 12th.
