Colchester Film Festival
The Colchester Film Festival ends tomorrow (Saturday 24th Oct). It’s an international film festival that takes place at Firstsite every October. This year there’s a very impressive programme to enjoy with full length features, many genre sections and a range of other masterclass workshops and events. East Anglian Shorts Showcase
Date: Saturday 24 October 2015 Time: 6pm
Location: Firstsite Learning Space B
This screening is a celebration of filmmaking from East Anglia. All of these short films have been created by filmmakers from the east of England or have been shot in the region. The event will be hosted by actor Nicola Goodchild (After Death) and the films directors will be on hand to introduce their film and answer any questions after the screening. Moving Image are providing the equipment and doing the setup plus helping to judge the six entries along with other organisations from the region: FILM Suffolk and East Anglian Film Network who will also be judging the winning film. Tickets for this event are free, and the screenings will be followed by a networking party which will be a great chance to network with other visting filmmakers!
