My Accomplice

Date: 04/10/2015 Times: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

My Accomplice is an independeently made and distributed film.  Set in Brighton, this offbeat comedy about falling in love features live performances by local bands and a cast including everyday eccentrics and vulnerable adults who are not often seen in films. Executive producer Julie Christie said, “I am very happy to be associated with My Accomplice…a slice of the sort of lives that most people live – Bravo!”

TV Bomb says that ‘a large part of My Accomplice’s considerable charm is the clear adulation the director, Charlie Weaver Rolfe, has for the town of Brighton…the shopfronts, seaside and interiors are all rendered in larger-than-life colour. It is precisely this eye for engaging details that elevates this rom-com well above the usual big budget offerings.’

The director and one of the main actors are due to attend the screening and take part in a Q&A.

It was nominated for The Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival.
