Why are we showing The Woman in the Fifth?  It’s director Pawel Pawlikowski’s first film since the strange and sparkling My Summer of Love, eight years ago.  It’s set in Paris, one of the great cinema locations, though Pawlikowski criss-crossed the city to discover places that wouldn’t make it look like a cliché of itself.  And alongside Ethan Hawke, it stars Kristen Scott Thomas, who has excelled herself in a series of films set in France including Leaving and Tell No One.

We expect a good turnout for this film so to be sure of a seat we recommend arriving early; you can always get your tickets and bag a seat then pop round the corner and get a drink before the performance starts at eight o’clock.
